The Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre at Concord Hospital was established in 2013 and is a place where cancer survivors who have received their treatment at Concord Hospital have access to a dedicated team of multidisciplinary professionals to support their individual needs following a cancer diagnosis.
The Cancer Survivorship Centre aims to help survivors at all stages of the cancer journey.
The vision of the SCSC is for all people diagnosed with cancer to live the lives they want, in the best health possible, after a cancer diagnosis.
The Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre is dedicated to help survivors and families better manage their treatment beyond its acute diagnosis and care. Their aim is to help people make positive lifestyle changes including improving their physical activity and nutrition as well as providing psychological support across a wide range of areas: physical, cognitive, emotional, financial, social and existential.
The Survivorship Clinic is for Concord patients who have received chemotherapy for early-stage cancer and who have no evidence of a recurrence of their cancer.
